Ingredients: 3 cups Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour; 1 tsp baking powder; 1/2 tsp baking soda; 1/4 tsp salt; 1/2 cup butter; 1/2 cup Crisco® Shortening (All Vegetable or Golden); 1 cup granulated sugar; 2 eggs; 1 oz chocolate, melted; Decorations — mixed nuts, cereals, candies

Ingredients

3 cups Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Crisco® Shortening (All Vegetable or Golden)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 oz chocolate, melted
Decorations — mixed nuts, cereals, candies

Instructions

Preheat oven to at 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream butter, shortening, sugar and eggs together thoroughly in a large mixing bowl.
Stir in dry ingredients. Mix well.
Place half of dough in separate bowl and mix in melted chocolate.
Chill dough 30 minutes for easy handling.
Create animals by placing mounds of plain and chocolate dough onto prepared baking sheets. Mounds of dough should just touch. Place animals 3" (8 cm) apart. Decorate as desired.
Bake in preheated oven for about 12 minutes, or until plain dough is light golden. Time will depend on size of cookie. Cool.
