Ingredients

  • 80 g Fresh cheese
  • 1 Beet
  • 1 Onions
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 0.5 Lemon
  • 30 mL (2 tablespoon) Chives
  • 30 mL (2 tablespoon) Olive oil
  • 2 pinch Salt
  • 2 pinch Pepper

Instructions

  • Peel and finely chop the onion.
  • Soften in a pot with ½ tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Peel the garlic and press it in the pot.
  • Add salt and pepper and 500 ml of hot water.
  • Add the cheese, mix, bring to a boil. Lower the heat, cover the pot and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with snipped chive.
  • Peel and grate the beetroot.
  • Sprinkle with lemon juice and ½ tablespoon of olive oil. Add salt and pepper.
  • Serve the zupa serowa (Polish cheese soup) with the grated beetroot.
