Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/3 cups Kellogg's® Frosted Mini-Wheats® Bite Size cereal
  • 1/4 cup very finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves, basil leaves or oregano leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground turkey

Instructions

  • For sauce, in small bowl stir together 1/4 cup ketchup, brown sugar and mustard. Set aside.
  • For turkey loaf, in large bowl whisk together egg whites, 1/4 cup ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in cereal, onion, salt, sage, pepper and garlic powder. Add turkey. Mix well. Shape into 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf in shallow baking pan lined with foil and coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° F for 45 to 60 minutes or until no longer pink and internal temperature measures 160° F.
  • Spoon sauce over top. Bake at 350° F for 10 minutes more. Remove from oven. Let stand for 10 minutes. Cut into slices.
