Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Betty Crocker™ Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 1/3 cups of milk
  • 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp. of cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of 35% whipping cream
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 peach
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 5-6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1/4 cup of melted hazelnut spread
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Grease your waffle iron if needed, then warm it up.
  • Whisk together the first 4 ingredients of the waffle mix until smooth.
  • Divide the batter into two bowls.
  • Blend the cocoa powder into one of the mixtures.
  • Cook the plain and chocolate waffles (depending on the waffle iron, you should produce twelve 4-inch waffles) Set aside.
  • Whip the cream and set aside.
  • Cut each of the bananas into four pieces lengthwise.
  • Roll the pieces in brown sugar.
  • Set aside.
  • Slice the peach and roll the pieces in brown sugar.
  • Set aside.
  • Melt the butter in a large frying pan and add the fruit to the pan.
  • Gently brown the fruit on both sides without over-cooking, otherwise it will become mushy.
  • Place the waffles, caramelized fruit, chocolate, whipped cream, blueberries and bacon on parchment paper in the center of the table.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
