Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil
  • 1 large  shallot, sliced into rings
  • 300 grams frozen pork  dumpling
  • 2 cartons (900 mL each) CAMPBELL’S® Ready to Use Chicken Broth
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) ginger root, minced
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) black vinegar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) soy sauce
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) sesame oil
  • 6 oz (170 g) Ramen noodles
  • 2 cups (500 mL) Asian greens (Bok Choy, Choy Sum, Gailan, etc.)
  • 8 slices slices of cooked  BBQ pork
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Place oil and shallots in a large non-stick skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until shallots are crispy and golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove shallots with slotted spoon and transfer to plate.
  • In the same skillet, cook frozen dumplings until golden and cooked through, about 15 minutes.
  • In a saucepan, combine chicken broth with ginger, black vinegar (if using), soy sauce and sesame oil. Bring to a boil. Cook ramen and Asian greens until the ramen is al dente and greens are tender crisp, about 2 minutes.
