Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Heinz Dijon Mustard
  • 2 cans (14 fl oz/398 mL each) Heinz Chipotle BBQ Style Beans
  • 1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) no-salt-added chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed
  • 1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) no-salt-added black beans, rinsed
  • 1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) Heinz Dark Red Kidney Beans, rinsed
  • 1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) lima beans, rinsed
  • 1/3 cup molasses

Instructions

  • 1. Cook and stir bacon, onions and garlic in large skillet on medium heat 8 to 10 min. or until onions are golden brown; drain. Return bacon mixture to skillet. Add sugar, vinegar and mustard; mix well. Cover; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.
  • 2. Combine remaining ingredients in 3-L casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with bacon mixture.
  • 3. Bake 50 min. to 1 hour or until hot and bubbly.
