Ingredients

  • 2lb. ground pork
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • Pinch nutmeg

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine all ingredients, making sure the spices are all evenly dispersed.
  • Shape the meat mixture into patties and set aside.?Heat a small amount of olive oil in a frying pan and set over high heat. Once the oil is hot, place the patties in the pan (don't overcrowd) and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side, until fully cooked through and golden brown. This may take more or less time depending on the thickness of your patties.
  • Serve by themselves, as a breakfast sandwich, or as part of brunch.
