Ingredients

  • 2 baking apple s
  • 4 Kraft Caramels
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter , melted
  • 2 Tbsp. Philadelphia Cinnamon Brown Sugar Cream Cheese Product
  • 2 tsp. milk

2 servings, 1 apple (188 g) each

Instructions

  • Cut 1/4-inch-thick slice off top of each apple; discard.
  • Cut out apple cores; discard.
  • Starting at top of each apple, make vertical cut (about 1/4 inch from peel) around flesh of apple, being careful to not cut through to bottom of apple.
  • Repeat to make second parallel cut, about 1/4 inch closer to centre of apple from first cut.
  • Turn apples over.
  • Make vertical cut down into each apple, being careful to not cut all the way through apple.
  • Repeat to make additional vertical cuts in apple, allowing about 1/4 inch between cuts.
  • Place apples in individual baking dishes.
  • Add 2 caramels to centre of each apple.
  • Combine next 3 ingredients; spoon over apples.
  • Bake 20 to 25 min. or until apples are tender.
  • Cool slightly.
  • Mix cream cheese product and milk until blended; spoon over warm apples just before serving.
