Ingredients

  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 onion diced small
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 415 g tomato soup
  • 2 tbs mixed herbs chopped
  • 250 g lasagne sheets
  • 2 cup cream
  • 1 1/2 cup cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a frypan and sauté onion and garlic until tender.
  • Add mince, brown and then add herbs.
  • Add tomato soup and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Line the base of a greased 23 cm rectangular casserole dish with lasagne sheets.
  • Pour one third of the mince mixture on top of lasagne sheets.
  • Drizzle ½ cup cream over mince.
  • Sprinkle ½ cup grated cheese on top.
  • Continue to layer lasagne sheets, mince, cream, and cheese until mince is used up.
  • Finish with a layer of lasagne sheets, drizzle with remaining cream and sprinkle Parmesan over the top.
  • Bake, covered, at 180C for 10 minutes.
  • Remove cover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
