Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ cup Crosby’s Fancy Molasses
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour, spooned in
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour, spooned in
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp each, nutmeg, cloves

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Roll dough on a lightly floured surface to ¼” thick and cut into shapes.
