Pizza With Tuna Crust

  • 1 can (170g) Clover Leaf® Solid White Albacore Tuna, drained
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded. low sodium
  • 1 Egg, large
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder


  • ? cup Tomato sauce
  • ½ cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded. low sodium
  • ¼ cup Black olives
  • 2 tbsp Basil, chopped
  • ½ tsp Red pepper flakes, optional


  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • For the crust, microwave mozzarella for 45-60 seconds until melted.
  • Stir well.
  • To the melted cheese, add tuna, almond flour, egg, baking powder and seasoning.
  • Mix until incorporated.
  • Form dough into a ball and place between 2 large pieces of parchment paper.
  • Use a rolling pin to roll dough into a ¼ inch thick pizza crust.
  • Remove top piece of parchment paper and use a fork to poke holes in the pizza crust.
  • Move crust, still on the bottom parchment paper, to a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, flip crust over and top with tomato sauce, mozzarella and olives then cook for another 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, cut into 6-8 slices and top with basil and red pepper flakes (optional).
