Ingredients

  • 100 g Mushrooms
  • 1 Beet
  • 40 g Whole-wheat bread
  • 3 Gherkins
  • 0.5 Lemon
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 30 mL (2 tablespoon) Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Instructions

  • Peel and crush the garlic. Wash, trim the mushrooms.
  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the mushrooms with the garlic.
  • Peel and cut the beetroot into small cubes and chop the gherkins. Stir them in the frying pan.
  • Pour in the juice of the lemon half, add salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Toast the bread slice, sprinkle with pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Serve the Livonian mushroom with whole-wheat toast.
