Ingredients

  • 100 g Green beans
  • 0.5 Onions
  • 10 mL (2 teaspoon) Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Tomato concentrate
  • 1 tablespoon Crème fraîche
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 30 mL (2 tablespoon) Vegetable oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Instructions

  • Peel the onion and cut into thin slices.
  • Top and tail, rinse, and drop the green beans in salted boiling water, reduce the heat, and cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan to brown the onion, cook for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from heat and wait 3 minutes until the temperature of the pan has lowered.
  • Stir in the paprika, tomato paste, and cream.
  • Return pan to heat, and gently stir in the beans.
  • Let for 5 minutes longer.
  • Serve the green beans with paprika hot.
