Ingredients

  • 1 package (10 x 50 g) Flamingo chicken souvlaki
  • 5 large pita breads
  • 1 tbsp. ( 15 ml ) olive oil
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 3 romaine lettuce leaves, chiselled
  • 250 ml tzatziki sauce
  • red onion, finely diced

Instructions

  • Preheat barbecue on medium setting.
  • Cook souvlaki until fully cooked, for approximately 15 minutes; remove wood skewers and keep warm.
  • Brush breads with olive oil and lightly toast them.
  • Top each bread with tzatziki sauce, chicken dices (equivalent to two brochettes per pita), lettuce, onion and tomato.
  • Roll each pita in a sheet of parchment or aluminum paper.
