Easy Salmon Spread

Ingredients

  • 1 can (142 g) Clover Leaf Flaked Sockeye Salmon - Skin & Bones Removed, drained
  • ¼ cup (50 mL) light mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp (1 mL) Worcestershire sauce
  • dash hot sauce
  • fresh dill or parsley, chopped

1 cup (250 mL) approx. 12

Instructions

  • In a food processor or blender, process salmon until fine. 
  • Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce.
  • Process for 30 seconds or until smooth.
  • Serve right away or refrigerate, covered, until serving time (up to a day ahead).
  • Serve as a spread on crackers, or with crudité, or spoon into Belgian endive spears or mushroom caps. 
  • Sprinkle with dill. 
  • Makes about 1 cup (250 mL).
