Ingredients

  • 150 g (1/3 lb.) Smoked Trout
  • 60 mL (¼ cup) fresh cheese (Quark or goat cheese)
  • 60 mL (¼ cup) 35% M.F. whipping cream
  • 60 mL (¼ cup) sour cream
  • 60 g (2 oz.) Smoked Trout, cut into small pieces
  • 20 mL (4 tsp.) chopped dill
  • 20 mL (4 tsp.) finely chopped chives
  • ½ lemon, zested
  • A few pinches of smoked paprika

Instructions

  • In a food processor, purée the smoked trout, fresh cheese, whipping cream, and sour cream.
  • Transfer to a bowl and add the small pieces of smoked salmon, herbs, lemon zest, and paprika.
  • Mix together and serve immediately with crackers or in a sandwich.
