Ingredients

  • 5 mL (1 teaspoon) olive oil
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 41641 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 450 g (1 lb) ground buffalo meat
  • To taste, salt and pepper
  • 4 Hamburger Buns
  • To taste, Mustard, mayonnaise, or other condiment,

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the vegetables for 2 minutes. Let cool.
  • Combine the sautéed vegetables with the ground meat.
  • Season to taste.
  • Form 4 patties.
  • Barbecue over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes or until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 70?C (160?F).
  • Turn over half-way through the cooking time.
  • While the meat is cooking, toast the hamburger buns.
  • When cooked, place a hamburger patty on each bun and garnish to taste.
