Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Becel® Buttery Taste margarine*
  • 1 lb. (500 g) beef stir fry strips
  • 3 cups (750 mL) sliced mushrooms
  • 1 pouch Knorr® Recipe Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 cups (500 mL) water
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) sour cream (less than 5% M.F.)
  • 12 ounces (375 g) egg noodles, cooked and drained

Instructions

  • Melt Becel® Buttery Taste margarine* in large skillet over medium-high heat and brown steak with mushrooms. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
  • Stir Knorr® Lipton Recipe® Onion Soup Mix with 25% less sodium, water and flour into same skillet.
  • Bring to boil over high heat, reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened. Continue simmering, stirring frequently, for an additional 4 minutes. Return steak and mushrooms to skillet.
  • Stir in sour cream and heat through. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
