Ingredients

  • 250 g macaroni
  • 2 onions large chopped
  • 1 green capsicum small chopped *optional
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 125 g bacon rashers diced
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 430 g tomato soup
  • 2 tbs tomato paste

Instructions

  • Cook macaroni in salted water until just tender. Drain.
  • Saute onion, bacon and capsicum in large pan for 2 minutes.
  • Add mince, stirring constantly until well browned.
  • Add soup, tomato paste, water and crumbled stock cube.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover and simmer for 20 - 30 minutes.
  • Add macaroni, heat through and serve with salad or vegetables of your choice.
