Ingredients

  • 500 g lean beef mince
  • 1 cup bacon rashers diced fat trimmed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 carrot small grated
  • 1 onion medium grated
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 2/3 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbs tomato sauce
  • 1 pinch chilli powder *to taste
  • 1 tsp coriander finely chopped

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Form into rissole shapes.
  • Pan fry or barbeque, or alternatively seal in pan and bake at 180C for approximately 15 minutes. Do not allow rissoles to dry out.
  • Serve with mashed or jacket potatoes and green beans.
