Ingredients

  • 2 cup dry wholemeal pasta
  • 375 ml evaporated milk
  • 500 g 97% fat-free rindless bacon rashers
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 190 g mushrooms

Instructions

  • Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente. Rinse, drain and set aside.
  • In a pan place bacon and onion and saute until bacon is crispy and onion is transparent.
  • Add evaporated milk and champignons. Bring to boil and allow to reduce and thicken slightly.
  • Combine sauce with pasta and place in ovenproof dish. Heat through.
