The Canadian Jewellery Group was originally established by a group of seven Northern Ontario jewellers who were interested in saving money through purchasing together.
Today, the CJG is Canada’s largest jewellery buying group with members across the country.
Our growth is attributable to acquiring and retaining members because of our ability to provide a real competitive advantage.
Retail members continue to make their own purchases and have product shipped directly to their stores, however, the paperwork and payment for these products is handled by the head office.
Unlike other buying groups in Canada and the U.S., the CJG negotiates terms and conditions with suppliers and then passes 100% of the advantages onto the individual members (most groups keep a portion of the discount and rebates).
Membership growth, extensive automation at the head office and careful expense controls keep membership fees at an affordable level.
The advantages of membership more than compensate for this cost.

All retail members of the Canadian Jewellery Group must pay their account with head office on time.
Our success with the endorsed suppliers is due to them receiving their payments from us each month, on time.
Many of our suppliers offer multi payments and terms for the retailer to take advantage of.
