Beverly Carter is a Notary Public in Victoria, BC, and a member of the Society of Notaries Public of British Columbia.

Much of her success stems from real-life experiences including teaching elementary school, small business ownership, and senior government executive combined with her ability to empathize and listen to her clients’ needs, and help them to understand in practical terms.

This keen ability combined with enthusiasm and knowledge provides her clients with the confidence and trust they seek when making important decisions around personal legal matters – selling or buying a house, making a Will, appointing a power of attorney, selecting the right estate executor, creating a living will, notarizing and sending documents to other countries.

On a personal note, Beverly was born and raised in the Okanagan Valley. She completed her Bachelors of Arts & Education at York University and her Master of Legal Studies at Simon Fraser University.

She is married to Bruce Carter, and together they have four children ages 16 to 23. She has a strong passion for building healthier communities and is an active volunteer.

Her recreational interests include sailing, reading, agility training with ‘Sumo’ (her miniature black poodle), and family time.
