Meet Chef Amedeo Vallati.

Executive Chef Amedeo Vallati received his formal culinary training in Italy, earning a Master of Italian Cooking certification.

He spent several more years there and in Germany honing his skills before returning to Canada to direct culinary operations at a large convention center in Nova Scotia.

 

Chef Amedeo also spent ten years working in Montreal where he was featured in the prestigious “Flavours” magazine and was voted into the top three in Quebec’s Top Chef in 2006 before taking a position at the Saskatoon Inn & Conference Center for five years.

An active member of the Canadian Culinary Federation, Chef Amedeo is passionate about supporting the local community and has relocated to Hecla Island with his two children to join our team at Lakeview Hecla Resort.
