Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 and 1/2 pounds chicken breast, cut into nuggets
  • 2 cups Gefen Cornflake Crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons shawarma spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Gefen Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Gefen Onion Powder
  • 1 and 1/2 cups oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a small bowl, mix eggs and flour.
  • Add chicken nuggets and toss to coat.
  • In a separate bowl, combine cornflake crumbs, sesame seeds, shawarma spice, salt, garlic powder and onion powder.
  • Coat nuggets fully in crumb mixture.
  • Heat oil in a nine- by 13-inch baking tray.
  • You will know the oil is hot enough when you hear it sizzle.
  • Make sure not to overheat it so it doesn’t burn.
  • Fry nuggets in batches, uncovered, for 15 minutes on each side.
  • Remove from pan and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
