Ingredients

  • 1 star anise
  • 1 green cardamom seed, crushed
  • 45 mL (1.5 oz.) freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 15 mL (0.5 oz.) Monsieur Cocktail Lime Syrup
  • 105 mL (3.5 oz.) sparkling apple juice
  • Grated nutmeg (to decorate)

Instructions

  • Gently crush star anise and cardamom seed with a pestle in shaker.
  • Add grapefruit juice and syrup.
  • Fill with ice and shake to mix.
  • Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a champagne flute and top off with sparkling apple juice.
  • Sprinkle with grated nutmeg to decorate.
