Ingredients

  • 8 potato
  • 4 Onions
  • 1 Lettuce
  • 100 g Cantal cheese
  • 150 mL Chives
  • 60 mL (¼ cup) Liquid cream half fat
  • 60 mL (¼ cup) Vinaigrette
  • 75 mL (5 tablespoon) Olive oil
  • 4 pinch Salt
  • 4 pinch Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 °F.
  • Peel the potatoes and cook them in water for 20 minutes. Wash them in cold water and cut them into fine slices.
  • Peel the onions and finely chop them. In a frying pan, soften for 5 minutes with a bit of olive oil.
  • Cut the Cantal cheese into thin slices.
  • In an oiled gratin dish, put the potato slices, the onions and the Cantal cheese.
  • Pour the cream by evenly distributing it, lightly salt and add pepper. Cook in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • Prepare a vinaigrette. Pour it on the salad with the snipped chive and mix.
  • Serve the potato gratin, the onions with Cantal cheese and the lettuce.
