Ingredients

  • 1 kg (2 lb) ground Nagano porc
  • 1 small onion
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) bread crumbs
  • To taste, salt and pepper
  • 8 mini hamburger buns
  • 1 pear
  • 125 g (1/2 lb) brie
  • 250 ml (1 cup) mâche

Instructions

  • Preheat the barbecue to medium-high.
  • Mix ground pork, onion, and bread crumbs together in a bowl and season to taste.
  • Shape mixture into 8 thin mini patties.
  • Place on the barbecue grill and cook 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until meat is no longer pink and internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
  • Place hamburger buns on upper grill for about 2 minutes or until warm.
  • When mini patties are cooked, top each one with a slice of brie and cook 1 more minute or until cheese begins to melt.
  • Place a brie-topped pork mini patty on each bun and garnish with mâche and a slice of pear.
