Lemon Butter Green Beans with Toasted Almonds Bacon & Feta Recipe
Ingredients
1 tablespoon oil
¼ cup sliced almonds
pinch of salt
salt
16 ounces fresh green beans, rinsed and stems removed
2 tablespoons Finlandia unsalted butter
1 teaspoons lemon zest
2 tablespoon lemon juice
3 pieces of bacon, cooked and crumbled
salt and pepper, to taste
feta cheese, to taste

Instructions
Place the oil and sliced almonds in a saute pan over medium heat and stirring to toast the almonds for 3-4 minutes. You will know when the almonds are toasted when they are a beautiful light brown color.
Season with a pinch of salt
Fill a saute or a frying pan with water to bring to a boil.
Add the green beans, cover, and cook until green beans are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the butter and lemon zest in another saute or frying pan over medium heat.
Once the green beans are tender, drain and add them to the same frying pan as the melted butter and lemon zest.
Add the lemon juice and bacon and toss to combine.
Taste and season with salt and pepper, add the toasted almonds and stir to combine.
