Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 red pepper, coarsely chopped
  • 1 yellow pepper, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-1/2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
  • 1-1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup Kraft Original BBQ Sauce
  • 4 cooked Easy Grilled chicken breasts, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded 4 Cheese Italiano Cheese
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Makes 4 servings, 1/4 recipe (341 g) each.

Instructions

  • 1. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add peppers; cook 7 min., stirring occasionally. Stir in garlic; cook 1 min.
  • 2. Add rice, water and barbecue sauce. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Top with chicken, tomatoes and cheese; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until rice is tender and cheese is melted.
  • 3. Top with onions.
