Ingredients

Pizza Crust :

  • 1 ¾ cup Robin Hood® Gluten Free Flour Blend
  • 1 tbsp instant quick rise yeast
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water (105°-115°F/40°-56°C)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided

Topping :

  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour blend, yeast, sugar and salt in a large bowl of an electric mixer.
  • In a measuring cup, combine water and 1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil.
  • With mixer on low speed, gradually add water mixture.
  • Beat on medium high speed for 4 minutes.
  • Transfer dough to prepared baking sheet.
  • You can make one large pizza or divide dough in eight for small pizzas.
  • With damp fingers, shape dough into a ball and flatten to 1/8” (0.3 cm) thickness.
  • Brush with remaining tbsp. (15 mL) olive oil.
  • Bake in preheat oven 30 to 35 minutes until edges are golden and crispy.
  • Remove from oven.
  • Spread tomato sauce over crust.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and chopped basil.
  • Return to oven and bake for additional 12 to 15 minutes until cheese has melted.
