Easy Skillet Chicken Parm

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups Prego® Original Pasta Sauce 645 mL
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 6 ounces)

Instructions

  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until well browned
  • For better browning- make sure the skillet and oil are hot before adding the chicken.
  • Add the sauce and 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese and stir just a bit to combine.
  • Reduce the heat to low.
  • Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the chicken is done.
  • Sprinkle with the mozzarella and remaining Parmesan cheese.
  • If you like, cover and let stand for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
