Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups Robin Hood® Oats
  • 1 ½ cup Robin Hood Original All Purpose Flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Beat butter and sugars until combined.
  • Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Beat in remaining ingredients.
  • Roll 1 tbsp (15 mL) of dough into a ball and place onto prepared baking sheets, about 2” (5 cm) apart.
  • Bake in preheated oven, 8-10 minutes.
  • Cookies should still be soft to the touch.
  • Let sit on baking sheets for 1-2 minutes until more firm.
  • Transfer to wire cooling rack until cool.
