Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
  • 8 Canadian Chuck burgers (each 6 oz/180 g)
  • 8 Kaiser buns
  • 2 cups (500 mL) shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 16 tomato slices
  • 1 cup (250 mL) diced onion

Instructions

  • Stir sweetened condensed milk with white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder and salt. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 min. 
  • Grill burgers on barbecue preheated to medium-high 5 to 6 min. per side or until cooked through, and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). 
  • Place burger patties on buns. Top with lettuce, tomato, onions and sauce
