Coconut chocolate banana tofu smoothie bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 300 g (10 oz.) soft tofu, drained
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) natural peanut butter
  • 175 ml (3/4 cup) chocolate soy beverage
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) cocoa powder
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) coconut flakes
  • 7.5 ml (1/2 tbsp) chia seeds
  • 1 square of your favourite chocolate (optional)

2 big bowls or 4 small ones

Instructions

  • Purée 1½ bananas, the soft tofu, maple syrup, peanut butter, chocolate soy beverage and cocoa in a food processor until smooth.
  • Pour into 2 large bowls or 4 small ones.
  • Garnish each bowl with slices of the remaining half-banana, coconut flakes, chia seeds and grated chocolate of your choice.
