Born and raised in the North Bay area, Lucie Laperriere Rochefort attended Laurentian University and completed her legal studies at the University of Ottawa in 1990.

She articled for one of Ottawa’s most prominent law firms and was then called to the bar in 1993.

Having previously held positions at the Supreme Court of Canada and the Ministry of Community and Social Services, Lucie opened her practice in North Bay and became one of the city’s first bilingual female sole practitioners.

Through hard work, dedication, and a particular client-oriented style of business, she established herself as one of the area’s leading real estate lawyers.

This dedication to her clients continues to define her today as she remains very much an approachable and attentive lawyer.

Committed to providing excellence in legal services to her clients, Lucie later obtained a Certificate from Osgoode Hall Law School Continuing Education in the area of intensive estate planning and administration.

Lucie has served on the Board of Governors of Nipissing University, the Board of Directors of the Community Counselling Centre of Nipissing, was a head coach within the North Bay Selects Soccer Club and served on the Board of Directors of the Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
