White Chocolate Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot brewed Starbucks® Espresso Roast
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin spice latte syrup
  • 1 oz white chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 4 tsp caramel sauce

Instructions

  • Heat milk in small saucepan set over medium-low heat, stirring often, for 3 to 5 minutes or until starting to simmer.
  • Stir in pumpkin spice latte syrup and white chocolate.
  • Using frother or hand blender, whisk until frothy.
  • Divide coffee between 2 mugs.
  • Pour in frothed milk mixture.
  • Top with whipped cream and caramel sauce.
  • Combine 1 cup (250 mL) water, 1/2 cup (125 mL) brown sugar and 1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar in small saucepan; bring to boil.
  • Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until sugar dissolves.
  • Reduce heat to low; stir in 1/4 cup (60 mL) canned pumpkin purée, 1 tbsp (15 mL) ground cinnamon, 4 tsp (20 mL) ground ginger, 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground nutmeg and 1/4 tsp (1 mL) ground cloves.
  • Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until fragrant.
  • Remove from heat; stir in 2 tbsp (30 mL) vanilla extract.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes.
  • Strain through fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth or coffee filter.
  • Let cool completely.
  • Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
