Miniature "Mandel Brodt" Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/4 pound margarine
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons Gefen Vanilla Sugar

Instructions
- Cream margarine and sugar, add egg.
- Add all ingredients and knead to a soft dough.
- Divide dough in half and form two long even logs.
- Place into a lined cookie sheet.
- Press slight indentation along log and fill with chocolate chips or apricot jam.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
- Slice while hot.
