Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound margarine
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons Gefen Vanilla Sugar

Instructions

  • Cream margarine and sugar, add egg.
  • Add all ingredients and knead to a soft dough.
  • Divide dough in half and form two long even logs.
  • Place into a lined cookie sheet.
  • Press slight indentation along log and fill with chocolate chips or apricot jam.
  • Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
  • Slice while hot.
