Ingredients

  • 1 Stick Butter, Softened
  • ½ Cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Instant Coffee
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ Teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1 ½ Cup AP Flour
  • ½ Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Cream of Tartar
  • ¼ Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Cup Slivered Almonds
  • ½ Cup Chocolate Toffee Candy, Chopped

Instructions

  • Cream together butter, sugars, and coffee
  • Scrape down sides
  • Add egg and almond extract, mix well
  • Add ingredients, mix until just comes together
  • Fold in almonds and candy
  • Chill dough 30 minutes
  • Shape into small balls
  • Bake 350F for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown
