Ingredients

  • 250 g Cadbury black forest chocolate chopped into pieces
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup plain flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 200 g butter melted
  • 4 eggs lightly beaten
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions

  • Sift cocoa and flour together, add sugar and mix to combine.
  • Add the chocolate pieces.
  • Add melted butter, eggs and vanilla essence to dry mixture and mix well.
  • Lightly grease and line a 20 x 30 cm cake tin.
  • Pour mixture into tin.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes at 180C (160C fan-forced).
  • Allow to cool in the tin and refrigerate for 3 hours.
  • Cut into slices and serve.
