The Cutie Spoovel is a transitional eating utensil for young children. It is made out of silicone with a plastic core and comes in a set of two in various colours. The brand name: "Cutie Spoovel" is printed on the back of the spoon, and RR is printed on the back of the handle on the end.
The product's handle can break, posing a choking hazard.
As of August 4, 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received three reports of the handle breaking and no reports of injuries.
The company reported that 110 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and 7,211 units were sold in the United States.
The affected products were sold from April, 2021 to July, 2021.
Manufactured in China.
Consumers should immediately stop using and discard the recalled products and contact Ryan and Rose, LLC for a full refund.
