arren was born in Kirkland Lake and raised in Kitchener, Ontario.

Warren joined the Canadian Army, RCEME Core, in June 1965 where he completed the required training and was qualified as Vehicle Mechanic Wheeled Group 1. He was honourably released in June 1968.

Warren then pursued a career as a plumber in Calgary, Alberta. In October 1972 he received his Certificate for Plumbing and Gas Fitting and worked for other businesses until December 1975.

Warren was an Inspector/Conciliator with the New Home Warranty Program in Edmonton, Alberta from January 1976 to May 1977 when he decided to become a service co-ordinator for Nu West Homes.

After about one year in that position he was promoted to Construction Superintendant building approximately 50 homes per year.

In 1980 Warren and his wife Mary started, and operated two successful businesses in Edmonton (Smart Homes Ltd. and Warm Home Insulation Ltd.) until April, 1987 when they decided to move back to Mary's home town of Trenton.

Once in Trenton Warren was hired as General Manager of the housing division for a major commercial business in Trenton building homes in Trenton until June 1990 when the housing industry began to slow down.

Warren and his wife, Mary, began Warren & Co. Contracting Ltd. in June 1990 and have enjoyed working together since that time building a very reliable, friendly, and honest business.

The various Certificates that Warren holds are: Master Plumber; Plumber; G.2 Gas Ticket; Water Meter Installer; and Rinnai Continuum Water Heater Installer. He has also completed the following with the Construction Safety Association of Ontario: Basics of Supervising; Basics of Fall Protection; and WHMIS in Construction.

Warren is also Chairman of the Renovation Committee with the Quinte Home Builders Association.

Warren enjoys spending his spare time at his cottage in Carlow/Mayo Township snowmobiling, four wheeling, and fishing.
