Product description

This recall involves the Nico SeeWonder Magnetic Rattle Snake Eggs consisting of 8 individual black oval-shaped magnets within a set. The individual magnets are 43mm x 15mm (1.7" x 0.6") in size and weigh 250g (8.82 oz.). The manufacturer part number is Eggmagnet10. 

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that the magnets do not meet the magnetic force requirements of the Toys Regulations and pose an ingestion hazard.

The results of swallowing small powerful magnets can be very serious and life-threatening. Swallowing incidents have often resulted in considerable damage to the gastrointestinal tissues and required emergency surgical treatment. For survivors, there can be long-term health consequences.

As of August 6th 2021, the company has received no reports of injuries or incidents.

The company has reported that 5 units of the recalled product were sold online at Walmart.ca in Canada.
