This recall involves Sail Brand Removable Car Door Steps. The black-colored steps are made of aluminum and their packaging bears the model number 06-1702 and UPC 774185432139. The steps also act as emergency glass breakers.
The step clip can break which can cause the user to fall and cause injury.
As of July 26, 2021, the company has received one report of the removable step board breaking causing a strain and sprain in Canada.
The company reported that 234 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.
The affected products were sold from August 2020 to June 2021.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and go to a SAIL store for a refund.
